With the newly recorded deaths, 22, 476 people have died of COVID-19 in Greece since the beginning of the pandemic, and 95 percent had an underlying medical condition. Of infections confirmed over the last seven days, 433 are linked to travel abroad.

There are currently 688 intubated COVID-19 patients (58.4 percent men), with a median age of 66-year-old, and 80 percent have an underlying medical condition and/or are age 70 or older. Of intubated patients, 81 percent are unvaccinated or partly vaccinated.

Since the start of the pandemic 22,087 patients have died of COVID-19 in Greece, and 95 percent had an underlying medical condition and/or were age 70 or over. There have been since the start of the pandemic 1.68mn confirmed COVID infections.

Since the start of the pandemic, 21,809 COVID-19 patients have died – 95 percent had an underlying medical condition and/or were age 70 or older. The total number of confirmed infections in Greece is 1.63mn, 50 percent men, (a daily rise of 1.2 percent).
