The Ministers of Finances Euclid Tsakalotos and Economy Giorgos Stathakis met with the delegates of the institutions in Athens on Saturday to discuss the list of prior actions that need to be taken, in order to secure a deal for a third bailout. The talks will continue on Sunday.
The Greek government’s aim is to reach an agreement so that it may be tabled in Parliament by Thursday, followed by a Eurogroup on Friday. The hope is that the Eurogroup will give then green light for a disbursement of aid towards Greece, so that the European Central Bank payment can be made by the 20th of August.

Meanwhile Reuters cited an unnamed Greek government official on Saturday, who reported that a third bailout draft was being discussed with EU/IMF lenders. According to the report, the third bailout may be as much as 86 billion euros.
