The list of names of the dead from the tragic Eastern Attica wildfires continues to grow longer, and now stands at 93, after the death of a 78-year-old woman who was being treated in hospital.
The woman, a fire burn victim, died this morning.
There are still 34 victims being treated in various hospitals. Eight of them are in intensive care units. Six are on life support. One child is still being treated, in good condition, in Athens’ Children’s Hospital.
Meanwhile, authorities finally released the list of the names of the dead in the deadly fires in Mati and Neo Voutza.
The list of the 92 dead, which was handed over yesterday to the forensics bureau of the Athens Prosecutor’s Office, includes all those who died in hospital, as well as two individuals who have not been identified. Their DNA samples have been collected, but no relatives have come forth to provide a genetic sample.
The list of dead includes 44 women, 35 men, 11 children, and one six-month-old infant.
