Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras posted a tweet on his visit to the fire-ravaged town of Mati, exactly one week after the disaster.
“Unspeakable sorrow and infinite respect for all those who waged an uneven battle with the flames,” was the comment of PM Alexis Tsipras on his twitter account, a few minutes after his visit to the fire –stricken areas of Eastern Attica.
“Today, I visited the site of the tragedy. I spoke with citizens, engineers, soldiers, firemen and volunteers. Unspeakable sorrow and infinite respect for all those who waged an uneven battle with the flames, and are now waging the battle of restoration,” the PM wrote.
