Golden Dawn MP Konstantinos Barbarousis has been arrested in Penteli after a three day manhunt.
He faces charges of preparatory acts for high treason.
According to his lawyer, Barbarousis was taken to police headquarters.
Police issued a statement saying that they had executed an arrest warrant.
The MP, who has been expelled from Golden Dawn’s parliamentary group, in parliament called upon the military to arrest the President, the PM and the Defence Minister, so as to stop the signing of the FYROM agreement. He had originally fled to his birthplace of Agrinio.
Barbarousis was chased by police en route to Agrinio but used side roads to avoid police blockades.
Barbarousis was arrested at the home of a lady friend in Penteli, and his getaway car was found nearby.
