The centre-left Movement for Change, led by Fofi Gennimata, has said it will reserve judgment on the FYROM naming settlement announced yesterday, pending the release of the full text of the agreement.
In a statement released after PM Alexis Tsipras outlined the agreement in a televised national address, the party said that:
“The Movement for Change has repeatedly underlined that it favours a solution, but not just any solution. A composite name for all uses, a constitutional revision [in FYROM], and the annulment of every form of irredentism are our steadfast, patriotic positions.”

“Based on these positions, we shall evaluate the official draft agreement which the government has committed itself to make public, so that we can determine if it meets the preconditions for the protection of our national interests and if it promotes stability in the wider region and European values,” the statement concluded.
