Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Cavusoglu is in Athens today for discussions with the Greek government, ahead of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s planned visit to Greece, at the end of the month or early December.

The Erdogan visit was arranged during Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Κοtzias’ recent visit to Ankara.

Cavusoglou had meetings with Deputy Premier Yannis Dragasakis, Kotzias, and Education Minister Kostas Gavroglu.

Though on a working visit, Cavusoglu was due to visit Western Thrace for meetings with members of the Muslim minority.
