More or less, it is well known, how mr. Tsipras reached to the point to vote for a very burdensome package of measures in order to close the notorious second review of Greek program.

It is also well known that it took seven years of memorandum and a row of hard measures in order to make the end of economic crisis seem possible.

However, now is not the time to decide who had the responsibility.

There is something much more important.

Greece, under the pressure of a new economic crisis, made a row of unprecedented commitments to its creditors, that there will not be a step back.

Mr. Tsipras commented: “Greece fulfilled the agreed to provisions to the fullest. The ball is now in the creditors’ court” and indeed no one can question that.

Without any further dispute Greece’s partners and creditors must meet their own commitments too. They must apply what they have promised since 2012 and to work for the changes that will make Greek debt sustainable.

This is without any doubt a national claim on which all the political forces can work together.
