The extradition of three of the eight Turkish military officers, who arrived in Greece after the failed coup in Turkey, will be examined on Monday by the Appeal Council. The case of three was meant to be examined on Friday, however two of them did not have an attorney, therefore the session was adjourned until Monday.
This delay was deemed necessary, so that the newly appointed lawyers can be briefed on the case. Additionally, critical documents requested by Greek authorities were sent by Turkey on the 30th of November and as such have not yet been translated.
Additionally, the lawyer of one of the three officers claims that the supervisor of the officers has not yet testified.
