The US Treasury Secretary Jack Lew is scheduled to meet with his Greek counterpart Euclid Tsakalotos at 11am and with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras at 2pm on Thursday.
In an interview for the Financial Times that was published on Wednesday, the American official argued that the recent turmoil in Turkey “strengthens the case” for Greek debt relief. According to Lew, Greece should be an anchor of regional stability.
