The Refugee Crisis Management Coordination Body announced its latest divs on Thursday, according to which there are 54,542 migrants and refugees in Greece.
It appears that there has been an increase of refugee arrivals on Greek islands on Wednesday, with 139 landing in the past 24 hours.
The vast majority (29,319) are in the north of Greece, while 14,330 are currently in Attica. A total of 6,992 people are registered at the hot spots on the islands – 3,761 on Lesvos, 2,332 on Chios and 899 on Samos.
