To govern successfully implies to predict successfully. Simply put, to make it clear to everyone, this means that information is a main component for good governance.

Beyond this, a calm public life has a selfevident value in the State’s operation.

In contemporary Greece it is doubtful if those in power take these principles into account.

The man in the street will ask himself if most ministers are so shortsighted in order to predict, for example, the developments in the economy in order to prevent developments and actions that will cause public anger, which in turn results in decisions and laws being withdrawn before they can come into power.

Moreso, all of this is taking place in a State where the need for calm is not taken into consideration by the government, especially when unemployment is constantly on the rise and poisons society.

Instead of jobs, the people are offered bread and games – but not even that! The games are obviously limited to the disrespect towards the Hellenic Parliament. The National Assembly is restricted to observing events taking place in the country, in the House of Parliament or brazen actions around Parliament.

It is worth mentioning that propaganda resembles comedey, unless of course we are to believe that the infamous Georgios Georgalas – government spokesperson during the dictatorship – has left job instructions in the government offices!!

Is there reason to worry? Konstantinos Karalamanlis used to say that the economy is a matter of psychology. The change can happen within 24 hours…
