A meeting between the Greek Minister of Finances Euclid Tsakalotos and the Eurogroup president Jeroen Dijsselbloem was carried out on Tuesday evening in Amsterdam, which lasted over two hours.
The Dutch official commented via his twitter account that he had “good talks” with the Greek Finance Minister on the challenges for Greece and the Eurogroup. A source from the Greek Finance Minister noted the discussion took place with a politician who wants to find solutions.
Meanwhile, it was reported that Mr. Dijsselbloem clarified his recent statement on “months” being needed to complete the bailout review also included the talks on Greece’s public debt as well.
On Wednesday the Greek Finance Minister has arranged to meet with his German counterpart Wolfgang Schäuble in Berlin.
