The Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras met with the president of the Hellenic Bank Association Louka Katseli and representatives of Greek banks on Wednesday morning and discussed a range of issues related to the capital controls and domestic economy.
To Vima has been informed that the meeting was carried out in a very positive and friendly climate, with banking circles reporting that the Prime Minister is determined to complete the agreement with Greece’s international creditors between the 15th and 20th of August.
Other reports suggest that the consultations and meetings under the supervision of Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos are also taking place. These meetings and discussion are reportedly based on the data provided by various government and ministerial services and the draft of the agreement.
