The leader of The River Stavros Theodorakis underlined that the government must submit a proposal that will keep Greece in the European Union, as anything else “is an act of treason and will be treated as treason by the Greek people”.
He underlined that the Greek people want a solution and that at the recent meeting of political leaders, the Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras pledged to bring a solution that will not jeopardize Greece’s position in the European Union and Eurozone.
Mr. Theodorakis also reminded that the Prime Minister urged the Greek people to vote ‘No’ in the referendum, promising to bring an agreement within 48 hours and reopen the banks.
