MEP Manolis Glezos has reportedly submitted his resignation from European Parliament, about a year after being elected. At the time of his election Mr. Glezos had clarified that he intended to resign after a year.
Mr. Glezos’ resignation will come into effect on the 8th of July. He will be replaced by Yannis Milios, as the first runner-up – Mr. Nikos Hountis – is currently appointed as the Alternate Minister of European Affairs.
