The Alternate Minister of Administrative Reform Giorgos Katrougalos and the Alternate Minister of Social Insurance Dimitris Stratoulis have decided to abolish civil mobilization, except in cases of emergency or public healthcare.
The previous coalition government had attracted a lot of criticism for issuing civil mobilization orders to employees at the public power company DEI, maritime workers, employees in public transport and education.
