The general secretary of the Communist Party Dimitris Koutsoumpas expressed his belief that both new Democracy and SYRIZA intend to continue with the bailout policies, despite saying otherwise.
Mr. Koutsoumpas argued that “however much they try to hide behind the misleading binary polarization, New Democracy and SYRIZA will extend the bailouts with their policy” and urged “employees, the unemployed and everyone who participated n the struggles to block the measures so that people can catch their breath” to support the Communist Party.
Furthermore, the KKE general secretary stated that “we cannot compromises with the crumbs they are promising left and right”.
