Actor Tony Antony, known for his performances in television, film and the theatrical stage, passed away on Sunday at the age of 66, following a long-term battle with cancer.
The actor, whose real name was Antonis Koniaris, was born in Athens in January 1948 and he became known for his stand-up comedy performances. His collaborations with comedian Harry Klyn were a turning point in his career, as he established himself as a comic.
In recent times he became better known for his work in television sitcoms and appearances on stage.
