The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Federation of Enterprises (SEV) have signed a strategic cooperation protocol regarding the promotion of exports, in an effort to boost exports towards the developing markets in Latin America, Eastern Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.
According to the agreement, which was signed by the general secretary of International Financial Relations Panagiotis Michalos and SEV president Theodoros Fessas, the goal is to improve public and private sector cooperation in exports. The agreement provides the use of financial and trade affairs offices in Greek embassies as “business hubs” that will provide Greek enterprises with information.
Mr. Michalos noted that while cooperation with SEV was already extensive, the deal will further develop this relationship and facilitate Greek enterprises wishing to expand their exports in America, Asia and Africa. Mr. Fessas pointed out that the development of Greek exports is critical in the efforts to help the Greek economy recover.
