An IKA employee at the central officers in Volos attacked his director by throwing yoghurt at him, when the director refused to provide legal backing in an IKA case.
The employee, Achilleas Kaliviotis, was contacted by Mega Channel and claimed that when he asked for IKA to find him a lawyer he was told to sort it out himself. On Monday morning the employee entered the director’s officer, locked the door and threw the yoghurt at him.
“I became desperate, after 30 years of honest work to be treated like a dog” and added that “it was in the heat of the moment and I apologize”.
The IKA chief Robertos Spyropoulos stated that this case will decided upon within the next three days.
