The social care, food and housing programs from the homeless have been extended until the end of 2014 after the Deputy Minister of Labor Vasilis Kegeroglou signed the relevant decree.
About 20 million euros from 2013’s primary surplus has been diverted to fund the Ministry of Labor’s social care programs for the homeless.
The various programs are decided upon by a three-member committee at the Ministry. The programs are then implemented with the support of the ecclesiastic and charitable foundations.
