The president of populist right-wing/nationalist party LAOS Giorgos Karatzaferis will be discharged from a hospital later in the day after successfully undergoing a heart operation over the weekend.
Mr. Karatzaferis complained of chest pains over the weekend and after undergoing an angiography examination, the hospital doctors decided to carry out an angioplasty procedure.
The LAOS president commented on Mega Channel that he was “touched by the Prime Minister, Adonis Georgiadis, Makis Voridis and everyone else who stood by me”.
