Fashion designer Lakis Gavalas has expressed his intention of giving away a plot of land he owns in the area of Kantza, in an effort to erase his 17,000,000-euro debt. Gavalas and his sister have been detained in the Korydallos prison for about a year.
Gavalas’ lawyer Giannis Pagoropoulos explained that his client wants to hand over the property, which he estimated to be worth 37 million euros, in order clear his debts towards the State.
