DIMAR leader and government partner Fotis Kouvelis will meet a number of top European Commission officers and Greeks living in Belgium, during his upcoming trip to Brussels.
On Tuesday Mr. Kouvelis has arranged to meet the European Commission president Jose Barroso and later on the president of Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats of the European Parliament Hannes Swoboda. In the afternoon, the DIMAR president will discuss European developments with the Commissioner of Shipping and Fishing Maria Damanaki.
On Wednesday Mr. Kouvelis has arranged to meet European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion Laszlo Andor and President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz. In the afternoon Mr. Kouvelis will speak at an event organize by Greek residents of Brussels. Mr. Kouvelis’ visit concludes on Thursday with a press conference and a meeting with European Commissioner for Regional Policy Johannes Hahn.
