SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras has flown out to Caracas for the funeral of Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez. Mr. Tsipras met and briefly spoke to the President of Cuba Raul Castro, former President of Brazil Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, current President of Brazil Dilma Rousseff and President of Ecuador Rafael Correa.
The Greek Opposition leader was greeted by the Vice President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro and later met with the wife and daughter of the deceased Venezuelan President.
