The national confederation of people with disabilities (ESAMEA) has announced that it will protest on Friday morning outside the Ministry of Finances, in demand of legal measures to protect low-income families with disabled members.
In their statement, they refer to the provisions of laws 4093/2012 and 4111/2011, which cut pensions in the public and private sector, as well as the wages of those working in the public sector, utilities and local government.
The confederation has submitted a number of proposals, with the purpose of protecting disabled pensioners and employees and their dependents.
