The Greek Statistics Authority ELSTAT has publicized its divs regarding unemployment in November 2012, which was estimated to be 27%, compared to 20.8% in November 2011.
According to the report, in November there were 3,642,102 employed, compared to 1,350,181 unemployed and 3,339,982 financially non active (children, pensioners etc…). The ranks of the employed were reduced by 265,584 people since November 2011 and by 30,144 people since October 2012.
Conversely, the ranks of the unemployed rose by 323,808 people since November 2011 and 20,255 since October 2012. The non active citizens were reduced by 19.577, compared to November 2011 and by 2,683 compared to October 2012.
