According to temporary data of the Greek Statistics Authority, during November 2012, 1,156 construction permits were issued, corresponding to 197 thousand m2 and 706.9 thousand m3. Compared to November 2011, that there is a 66% drop in permits, which translates in a 63.3% drop in surface and 65.4% drop in volume.
Regarding private construction activity, 1,150 construction permits were issued, which correspond to 189.7 thousand m2 and 676.9 thousand m3. Compared to 2011, that is a 66.5% reduction in permits, 64% drop in surface and 66.1% drop in volume
