The data collected by the police from the apartment that Nikos Romanos rented in Halandri indicates that the SPF strike team was involved in other bank robberies, which were initially attributed to common criminal activity.
Police officials estimate that the high cost of renting multiple apartments would mean that the group had higher funding needs that originally thought. The overall feeling is that there are at least two more hide-outs, most likely in Athens since most of those still at large are Athens residents.
