Χρυσές Σφαίρες 2025: Σάρωσε η “Emilia Perez” – Νικητές και χαμένοι της βραδιάς

Η 82η τελετή απονομής των Χρυσών Σφαιρών πραγματοποιήθηκε την Κυριακή, 5 Ιανουαρίου 2025, στο The Beverly Hilton Hotel στο Λος Άντζελες, τιμώντας τις κορυφαίες ταινίες, τηλεοπτικές σειρές και ερμηνείες της χρονιάς.

Το μιούζικαλ-θρίλερ "Emilia Pérez" του Jacques Audiard κέρδισε τη Χρυσή Σφαίρα για την καλύτερη ξενόγλωσση ταινία. Η ταινία αφηγείται την ιστορία ενός Μεξικανού βαρώνου των ναρκωτικών που αλλάζει φύλο και είχε ήδη βραβευθεί στο φεστιβάλ των Καννών. Επικράτησε των ταινιών "I’m Still Here" του Walter Salles και "The Seed of the Sacred Fig" του Mohammad Rasoulof.

Η Demi Moore αναδείχθηκε νικήτρια της Χρυσής Σφαίρας α’ γυναικείου ρόλου σε κωμωδία ή μιούζικαλ για την ερμηνεία της στην ταινία "The Substance" της Coralie Fargeat. Στην ταινία, υποδύεται μια σταρ του Hollywood που εθίζεται σε ένα μυστηριώδες ελιξίριο με καταστροφικές συνέπειες. Η Moore επικράτησε των αντιπάλων της, Carla Sofia Gascon ("Emilia Pérez") και Mikey Madison ("Anora").

Ο Sebastian Stan τιμήθηκε με τη Χρυσή Σφαίρα α’ ανδρικού ρόλου σε κωμωδία ή μιούζικαλ για την ερμηνεία του στην ταινία "A Different Man", όπου υποδύεται έναν άνδρα με παραμορφώσεις στο πρόσωπο που υποβάλλεται σε χειρουργική επέμβαση για να ακολουθήσει το όνειρό του να γίνει ηθοποιός. Ο Stan είναι επίσης υποψήφιος για την ερμηνεία του στην ταινία "The Apprentice", όπου υποδύεται τον Donald Trump.

Ο σκηνοθέτης Brady Corbet απέσπασε τη Χρυσή Σφαίρα για την ταινία του "The Brutalist", η οποία αφηγείται την ιστορία ενός Εβραίου αρχιτέκτονα, επιζώντα του Ολοκαυτώματος, που μετακομίζει στις ΗΠΑ για να κυνηγήσει το «αμερικανικό όνειρο». Ο Corbet επικράτησε σπουδαίων αντιπάλων, όπως ο Jacques Audiard ("Emilia Pérez"), ο Edward Berger ("The Conclave"), ο Sean Baker ("Anora") και η Coralie Fargeat ("The Substance").
