The US Secretary of Treasury Jack Lew will be in Athens on Wednesday and Thursday, where he will be received by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and meet with his Greek counterpart Euclid Tsakalotos.
The American official will be traveling to Greece in order to discuss the progress of implementing reform, while encouraging the government to push forward with reforms over the summer, so that talks between Europe and the IMF on debt relief may begin later in the fall.
