The recent pension system reform has resulted in increase insurance contributions for 667,229 farmers registered with the OGA pension fund.
Specifically, the insurance contributions of these farmers for the second half of 2015, which are due at the end of June, are scheduled to increase by 10%. As of 2017 the insurance contributions of farmers will gradually increase each year, until 2022.
For 2017, farmers will pay 18.73% of their income as contributions for healthcare and a pension; in 2018 this will increase to 21.84% and in 2022 it will increase yet again to 26.95%.
