The Alternate Minister of Finance Tryfon Alexiadis has warned taxpayers that no extensions will be granted for filing tax returns, as in 2015 when the deadline was extended to October.
Mr. Alexiadis, who made the statement in Parliament in response to a question posed by SYRIZA MP Chara Kefalidou, urged taxpayers to file their taxes and commented that he was please with the progress so far.
According to the Alt. Finance Minister about 43% of tax returns have been filed, amounting to 20,000 to 30,000 per day. The deadline for filing tax returns is the end of June.
