The Minister of Finances Yanis Varoufakis has categorically ruled out the possibility of introducing a single 23% VAT rate, when asked by journalists.
When further pressed by journalists outside the Ministry of Finances, whether there has been a “falling out” with the creditors, Mr. Varoufakis responded that “there is a negotiation”
Mr. Varoufakis refused to respond to the criticism he received by Yannis Milios, regarding his comments on accepting 70% of the bailout.
