Pensioners have planned a protest today against government policies. Protesters will meet at Kotzia Square at 10am and will then march to the Ministry of Labor, in order to meet the Minister G. Vroutsis.
The pensioners issued a statement explaining that despite “the ransacking of pensions, the load from taxes, bank repossessions of our homes, increase in power bills, suspending bonuses, and shrinking supplementary pensions”, Health services are in decline and the price of heating oil constantly soars.
