SYRIZA’s “100-day plan”

5.2.13

The Opposition party SYRIZA is to begin work on a “100-day plan”, which is dependant on developments in the party’s interior and the developing European scene. Following the party’s Central Committee, which brought a truce between SYRIZA’s leadership and the Left Platform, the uncertainty regarding Greek society and European developments becomes more prevalent.

In light of this uncertainty, a new SYRIZA conference will take place by summer, in hopes of establishing a new political scene in time for the critical period following in autumn. Committees appointed to the different administration sections have been formed in order to come up with a “100-day plan”.

The party members manning these committees have admitted a great degree of difficulty with the task, as predicting elections or the circumstances at the time, even the country’s relation to the Eurozone, is risky. Despite this, there is hope that the plan will be ready by the end of March, which will not be so much a list of promises, but a series of actions in event of a SYRIZA win in upcoming elections.
