The national meteorological agency EMY has announced that there will be a mini heat-wave in Greece on Monday and Tuesday, with temperatures expected to rise to 38 and 39 degrees in many areas.
According to the EMY release, the northerly winds will mostly be mild throughout the country, however they will be stronger in the Aegean Sea.
In Attica the temperature will range from 25 to 37 degrees. In Thessaloniki the temperature will be between 23 and 36 degrees, with sound clouds expected in the afternoon.
The temperature throughout the country is expected to drop a bit as of Wednesday.
