The European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, Taxation and Customs Pierre Moscovici stated that the technical talks with Greece are ‘on the right track’, when asked by SYRIZA MEP Dimitris Papadimoulis.
Mr. Moscovici further elaborated that all European institutions are in agreement, following last week’s Eurogroup meeting. He further noted that the technical talks will continue, with the aim being to reach an agreement by Easter.
The Commissioner was quick to add that he could not specify whether he meant the Orthodox or Catholic Easter, but underlined the importance of completing the negotiations as soon as possible.
