The Ministry of Finances has issued a statement regarding the retransmission of ERT’s television program.
According to the email sent out by the Ministry of Finances, it is illegal for anyone to broadcast any type of programs (television or radio) with ERT’s logo, as it is unauthorized and as such may incur penalties, according to the relevant legislation.
The Ministry of Finances had objected to the retransmission of ERT’s program through KKE’s 902 television station. Digea, the firm handling the digital television platform in Greece, has since blocked 902’s transmission.
